Anyone know what these are?

Hi, please help identify these transistors (?) I recently picked up.
They are marked "SGS U 3282/1 523" and have a blue and red dot on the top.

An older Germanium transistor? My guess is a 2N3282 PNP - the NTE equivalent is the NTE160

Thanks Neil for the very useful info. Any idea what the red and blue paint dots on the tops signify? I thought they might identify the legs but they don't seem to correspond to leg positions on all of them.
