According to some on the DIYAudio forum these guys make some good full range drivers but the question is, has anyone here owned or listened to a pair?
They seem very very reasonably priced and I'm intrigued by the idea of a 12 or 15" plain ferrite core driver for smallish money (the posh alnicos and neodyms could be considered later)
Can these 15" drivers hope to do voices with any accuracy - given my fave driver size for that kind of thing is 6"?
Anyway, here's the site of the products I'm talking about: http://www.commonsenseaudio.com/
I could imagine just getting a set to muck around with in open baffles and then getting an expert PFM chippy to do me some cabs, but I'm a little sceptical something that size can do voices accurately, what have you heard?
Thanks
Mark
