Found this old self portrait behind a record box yesterday. I like this, didn’t take long - joy of charcoal!
I do remember I was in a foul mood when I did the drawing. I used a mirror to see my face rather than a photograph.

Mirror for me too, and no pre sketching. Pen only so mistakes and all. Your needs colour! I've been enjoying pastel pencils. Allow lots of expression. easy blending and good colour.
