Another Ukraine fundraiser - and a question!

On the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, I'm launching another crowdfunding appeal in aid of the volunteers in my home city of Zaporizhzhia in eastern Ukraine.

Galina Goncharenko, who leads the team and who we have helped before, says they need power banks, solar chargers, tablet computers and sleeping bags - so this is what I'm collecting for.

Try talking to Festival promotors, especially ones aimed at the younger set. There is always loads of kit left behind that usually gets donated to charity. They might bung some in your direction.

That was an excellent suggestion- I emailed Festival Republic and after two days of scavenging after Reading Festival my garage is full of sleeping bags!
