The Zenith SE was a "Special Edition" model where only 100 were made. Innuos make 3 other models which are always available.

Back in the day, I found a pretty significant different between CD players, transports and DACS... but only when one went to a completely different price range £500 > £3000. Even not much difference between the £500 & £1500 tiers. Now I'm on a laptop but where the software is heavily tweaked and stripped. It's a constant struggle to get sound that's not just good but great and have the PC stay stable. Chasing the quality with my 90's digital rig. I found pretty significant SQ changes when tweaking the OS and shutting down unneeded processes, so I have no difficulty seeing that a well implemented purpose-built audio server would be an improvement. Not having the dosh for Aurender, I'm about to try out the microRendu and see if it gets me there.
