I need some good, cool recommendations for
"after hours" blues and jazz.
you know the sort, easy sexy stuff
Phil

Sarah Vaughan's slow stuff. Sade. Julian Joseph. Nick Drake. Frank Sinatra. Lambchop. Eryka Bahdu.

I find Tom waits Pasties and a G String works.
They'll do anything if you turn it off!

Dexter Gordon - 'Ballads'

Ben Webster - 'Soulville'

Miles Davis - 'Kind Of Blue', John Coltrane's Sax Solo on Blue in Green is the coolest thing I have ever heard and transports me to heaven every single time I listen to it.

Oh and one disc the girl will love : Keith Jarrett - The Köln Concert. A must-have anyway.

Morcheeba-'Big Calm' or the instrumental version of their 'Charango'
John Martyn-'Solid Air'
Ali Farka Toure with Toumani diabate- 'In the Heart of The Moon'

****, dat's boering.
Le toucan is what sends SSB to sleep quickest.

chaps - get lucky - well not exactly :)
THanks some I have - well most actually, looking for something new !

Patricia Barber - Modern Cool, and pretty much everything she's ever done. Stunning quality of recording.......luuuuurvley

Eden Attwood - Bosanova Blues. Simple, nothing fancy, nice.

Sarah Tavares - not jazzy, more World but nice.
