Addis pads - probably the greatest single upgrade ever…in the world!

Incidentally, I've come up with a new variation involving these foam ice hockey pucks. The Addis puck, I guess you could call it. I've now got the new combo under my speakers and turntables, although I've had to get creative with the turntables as the foam isn't able to support loads that are concentrated: I used the lids from these B&M Breakfast Jars to distribute the load and the results have been excellent. I reckon as good as if not better than the normal pad+bumper combo, but without the colouration.

Here's a pic of the new combo, comprising 2 layers of 3x3 pads, 1 puck, 1 lid, plus 2 single pads with a bumper on top, in action beneath my LP12:

Oh, the lids are the same fit as the ones you find on jars of Biscoff spread, so if you buy some jars and work your way through the Biscoff, you'll have plastic lids for the breakfast jars :)
