I believe your son was diagnosed with a brain disorder some time after receiving his MMR shot. It is still highly unlikely that the MMR shot was the cause.

Are you a medical expert? You’re certainly making a lots of assumptions.

Please take your conspiracy theories elsewhere.
Stating the children die from vaccinations is hardly a conspiracy theory. It’s a statement of fact.

Did you know that children in the UK receive 25 different vaccinations by the time they are 2 years old? Fact.

Scandal started in UK with frudulanet research linking MMR with autism and bowel disorders

https://www.bmj.com/content/342/bmj.c7452

<<Authored by Andrew Wakefield and 12 others, the paper’s scientific limitations were clear when it appeared in 1998.2 3 As the ensuing vaccine scare took off, critics quickly pointed out that the paper was a small case series with no controls, linked three common conditions, and relied on parental recall and beliefs.4 Over the following decade, epidemiological studies consistently found no evidence of a link between the MMR vaccine and autism.5 6 7 8 By the time the paper was finally retracted 12 years later,9 after forensic dissection at the General Medical Council’s (GMC) longest ever fitness to practise hearing,10 few people could deny that it was fatally flawed both scientifically and ethically. But it has taken the diligent scepticism of one man, standing outside medicine and science, to show that the paper was in fact an elaborate fraud.>>

That's lead to a fall in vaccinations against target 95% in UK.
https://www.nursinginpractice.com/vaccinations-infections/why-uptake-measles-vaccine-so-low

Measles is a massive global killer child. According to WHO:

<<
Key facts
  • Even though a safe and cost-effective vaccine is available, in 2018, there were more than 140 000 measles deaths globally, mostly among children under the age of five.
  • Measles vaccination resulted in a 73% drop in measles deaths between 2000 and 2018 worldwide
  • In 2018, about 86% of the world's children received one dose of measles vaccine by their first birthday through routine health services – up from 72% in 2000.
  • During 2000- 2018, measles vaccination prevented an estimated 23.2 million deaths making measles vaccine one of the best buys in public health.>>
Similar respiratory and highly contagious disease to CV19. But the difference is that there is a vaccine widely available.

Project forward 20 years, when we have a CV19 vaccine. Might there be side effects, extensive due to rushing out vaccine? Can't imagine many of this generation not recommending it, but look at evidence pattern with measles vaccines.

Individual cases of complications such as MrMagoos above are tragic, but still a minority in global picture.

My main point was that the original intent of Andrew Wakefiled was not to stop vaccinating but to push for parents to be given the choice to have them done separately. At the time this did not sound unreasonable to me. Again I'm going from memory without looking it up so correct me if I'm wrong but the NHS did not want to give parents this choice mainly because it would cost more money and, they argued, the MMR was safe and effective, so no point offering it separately. Then it all spun out of control and turned into the whole anti-vax shite that it is today. If I had a child now that needed them I'd be inclined to ask for them separately because that makes sense to me.

I understand and agree. I think there were a range of issues around sequencing and potential harm to recipients. But whatever the intent, hoodwinking the populace and medical authorities with data that was both falsified and wilfully misinterpreted to create widespread, was wrong.

NHS had number of motives for combo MMR. Costs - obviously, velocity for blanket vaccinations (rather than 3 separate visits over time), and it was (and still is) deemed safe to do so in one hit.

Mine were all done MMR. I'd do the same again.

Brunei is already down to zero new case for a few days, New Zealand should get there soon. They will be very strict on anybody coming in.

Putting the word 'fact' at the end of a statement does not make it true. Using the official guidance (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/nhs-vaccinations-and-when-to-have-them/) I count six (working on the idea that 2nd and 3rd doses are not different).

Your views on health issues do not tie in with what the medical community consider good advice. Fact.
You are a dangerous conspiracy theorist. Opinion.

It is a statement. To be a statement of fact it would have to be true.

I do not know that for the simple reason that it isn't true. The NHS vaccine schedule lists 6 vaccines covering 14 diseases given to children under age 2.

We’ll see.

MMR - been under consideration for some time.

With only 6 out of 10 NHS staff (previous to the CV crisis) taking up the Flu jab, this has also been subject of discussion and debate, with mandating it being considered.

I sense this (historical) position will change given where we are now, and that most would leap at chance for vaccinations, assuming they are safe and properly tested - that does not preclude accelerated testing programs imo.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...mps-rubella-mmr-maintaining-uptake-of-vaccine

In short, the combined MMR vaccine is deemed to offer better protection than a staggered administration of single vaccines with no evidence of any downsides. Furthermore, using the combination apparently increases uptake.

Fix the app. Ask yourself why it can’t be designed in such a way to allay the fears of abuse. If they don’t then it’s nobbled from the start. The little dictators all over the world that find this type of tech attractive, that there are the authoritarian high surveillance regimes with similar systems already in place ,should raise a red flag. The historic sacrifices made in 2 World Wars to protect freedoms shouldn’t be thrown away so some bloody hairdresser or barista can go back to work.Fix the app.
I think somebody linked to Bruce Schneier, either upthread or on a related thread recently. One of his quotes, which I like a lot, is:

Bruce Schneier said:
It is poor civic hygiene to install technologies that could someday facilitate a police state.

There's lots more here in a similar vein, and it's worth a little bit of anybody's time, but particularly those who are prone to repeating the 'If you've nothing to hide, you've nothing to fear' bollocks.

Some countries will probably make it compulsory. Others will likely require it for visitors. The UK will probably do neither.

And a large proportion of people won't get it in case it contains nano robots that report back to the UK government live from your bloodstream
