zero artistic points, but caught this guy red handed in the morning stealing peanuts from the bird feeders. I shouted at him and he froze for a while, then went back to stealing the peanuts

I stepped out side to see where the cat was and went wow!

Just been back out a bit of colour in the sky, and the cat with a mouse in mouth!

One from an after work wander at a local lake: A Great Crested Grebe on its nest. The little'un was also around but was sadly hiding behind the nest so I couldn't get a photo. Definitely a spot to return to...

Why, thanks - really nice of you to say so. I'm working through the ones I took on the trip.
A few more yet.
The church, I remember from a previous visit, has an interesting pulpit with masonic/pagan cartouches, but was locked on this occasion. Possibly always locked now, perhaps. The building the picture was taken from is a delight, has an inscription saying it was paid for by a purser, no doubt with prize money from French ships seized in the Napoleonic wars.
