Iirc the Clear Audio Virtuoso v2 can take an AT VM95 stylus with a little surgery with a scalpel on the plastic surround. If you google there are examples of this and gods results reported for the ML stylus on this body.

I would add the ATC SCM40's to the list to audition. Fantastic mid range dome (three way is the way to go if you want good vocals), fast articulate bass from the sealed cabinet and a good soft dome tweeter to reduced harshness.
