I still have a mission pcm 7000 and compared to my modern cd players, it sounds very good indeed..just smells a bit odd? Did you ever try your pcm 7000 as a transport? I wouldn't compare any of my cd players with my linn record players..my cartridges cost more than the cd players did lol

No rights of access whatsoever... however he regularly comes onto our side so he can move his wheelie bins around! And just a few weeks ago we inadvertently brought his green bin onto our front garden ( we don't keep bins by side of house ) anyway we started filling it before I realised it was...

    Fence

Hi, my neighbour is being irritating re wheelie bins - I live in a semi and I have a divider path between both houses with a earth strip in middle of path where original low on mesh fence was - the earth strip is on the same line as my neighbours fence ( they have responsibility for this side...

Please suggest a simple way to clean records...

I use a eraser sponge...fairly wet go around record a few times and wipe off with kitchen roll...nearly all my records are from charity shops so have fag and coal fire residue on them..also kills static too! You can use distilled water if you want..I can't be bothered and use filtered water!
