Had exactly the same thing. Have found a seller on Ebay France that has them for 99 euros, including instructions on how to fit them, apparently easy. If you would like, I am going to order one and will keep you updated.

Has a pair of 57's years ago, absolutely loved them. Only thing against them is the servicing and the space that they take up. Also, i was single then and the space didn't matter. Now have Apogee Centaurs, as they are more living room/ wife friendly!

I would go for a Quad 34/405-2. Get them both serviced, superb gear and will last forever if serviced.

Why not use both? I had an LP12 years ago and changed to a PS Audio Dac/Transport, as it sounded better to my ears. Each to their own, if you like the analogue sound of the Linn, then keep it.

Great advice from Mignun, you can never over pack them. For largish speakers, i would always suggest a pallet and then shrink wrapped. Also bear in mind that pallets are stacked, so again,make sure that there is plenty of protection. https://www.overlandexpress.co.uk/hifi-equipment
