I have not run my JR149's or Chartwell LS3/5a's (1976 vintage) for a while, but I remember preferring the midrange of the LS3/5a. What I have thought for a long time, JR149 fitted with the LS3/5a crossover.

EMI drive units in these, both the hard dome tweeter and bass unit.

B&W DM1 bass units were made by EMI, as were the the DM3 bass units.

Yea, a multi tap autotransformer is used. I think it can be used to adjust the level of all the units, but usually only the HF1300 tweeter is adjusted.

Been using W10 LTSC for about 3 years, supported to 2029 I believe.

RCI (Renault owned I believe) and Marcus (Goldman Sachs) offer around 2% with instant access. I have had accounts with both for a few years and they seem efficient.
