I refoamed my Royd A7s a few years ago before selling them. It took a while and needed care but no special skills and the result was well worth it. Hope these A7s can be brought back to life because they are a really musical speaker!

Update - I just bought the Leema Xones at a bargain price (compared to RRP) and am very happy with them, although I still need to level them properly. I also intend to fit TQ Blue jumper cables to match with my speaker cables. The Xones seem definitely more detailed than my ELAs and are nice...

I use a Focusrite 2i2 for digitising vinyl, following expert advice from another forum. It gives great results. I also highly recommend Vinyl Studio software - it isn't at all expensive and is much more user friendly than Audacity.

I haven't had any problems from labels getting slightly wet at the edges. I spray the records with distilled water and a little wetting agent after removing them from the Antistat. That gets rid of any possible residue and also helps them to dry fairly quickly and cleanly. Some recommend a...

I would recommend the Disco Antistat as a step in the right direction which doesn't cost anywhere near as much as a RCM. It's made a big difference to my LP listening. As recommended, I put cleaned LPs into new inner sleeves. Before playing I use a carbon brush to remove any surface dust.

I saw a Youtube video showing how to use wood glue to clean LPs. Interesting but I'll "stick" with my Disco Antistat.
