Yes based in U.K.
It be a real shame.
I have looked at these spare parts companies quoting mechs for about £60. I am not putting my hopes on these parts.
I too have a CDX but in my case I have been extremely lucky from a brand new purchase from 2000. I never had a problem 1 in million i suppose.
Hi all,
I was at my mate's house yesterday.
He has got the dreaded ERR on his CDX after powering back up again from cold.
No spin noise when you push in the CD tray and hence no disc read.
I have contacted Naim and JJ this morning to see if they can repair.
Anybody had luck in Naim CD fix...
Loved their Phantom Speaker Cable as an alternative to NAC A5. It would have been very difficult if I tried to use NAC A5 behind some very tight TV/display cabinets.
Just read this on Naim Forum. Quick Google to see if its true... Have they really gone out of business? So sad to hear if it is true. I always had great service from them especially during 2020 Covid lock down.
Sorry to read all of this.
Scum bags and lowlifes resort to this sort of behaviour.
To date I have only glowing recommendations in using PFM. No issues in buying or selling.
I keep thinking it could be scammers. Too good to be true.
Never sold anything on eBay doesn’t help. Only ever purchased that has been great. No issues.
Actually emailed Darren (and WHat) during 2020 lockdown about fixing my damaged CD5 because of courier. He said he can’t do CDs anymore.
I thought Naim was reasonable at time.
I decided to get a nice CD3.5 instead.
Still have the broken CD5 in case I want to fix on day… Mrs tried to bin it into...
This was absolutely insane.
A broken CD 5 for £450! W*F!

When I asked Naim about fixing a broken CD5 in 2020, they quoted me about £375 to replace laser mech.
Agreed. Been watching a few eBay sales recently just for fun. Naim odd bin parts good as money in the bank.
Who fixing these? Are they really worth? Is like crypto currency drive up price without logic.
I ordered my first SBL pair from Markie (2020) based on personal recommendation from the Witch Hat Audio guys.
I had no problems. Quick delivery, great price and perfect form. What's not to like!
I would have no problem buying from him again.
Do anyone know how long they last before start to...
