Big venues/big tours yes, but a lot of smaller venues have their own systems.

A lot of venues have badly installed and set-up in-house systems suffering from a lack of maintenance and basic understanding of how to make them work properly (the general perception of in-house techs were they were the ones not good enough to get a touring job... not always the case but true...
