@martin clark Thanks I already have the original album along with 20 or so other John Martyn albums . The tracks here were recorded live in a Scottish Studio especially for the series and are very good alternative performances .

I have had quite a few lower price DAC,s pass through ranging from Metrum , Denafrips , Arcam and others each has there own strengths and I could well have stuck with the Arcam D33 . But many years ago I heard an Arcam CD Player with a dCS ring dac built in and was very impressed with the sound...

Thank you for the offer but I have been able to source both of those CD,s already . I was looking for the first series for the versions of May You Never and Solid Air .

BBC broadcast a series The Atlantic Sessions with Aly Bain as the presenter featured UK and US artists . When they finally put out the CD of some of the sessions was renamed as Transatlantic Sessions . Looking for the first series CD,s which feature John Martyn .

Slightly puzzled about this as the illness and hospitalization was in October 2023 and Raven rejoined the tour in November . Can not find any mention of him being ill again and I hope that is the case .

I have a LIV Zen which runs Vortexbox which is acting as my LMS Server . This uses 8.4.1 and I am not aware of how I can update the LMS version as it is tied to the Vortexbox image which is now abandoned by the owner .

I thought i had this sorted but would appear not so still looking . Reason for asking for used is I would prefer to reuse/recycle if possible and many of us myself included have things in boxes drawers etc we are not using . if anyone has a set let me know .

In most cases it does not matter at all . But if the amp that sounds the very best has a very sensitive speaker protection circuit then it can be an issue .

The ESL 57 has a crossover impedance dip to under 1 Ohm this can cause issues with solid state amplifiers . The Widget smooth this dip and makes idealised for ss amps to cope without triggering speaker protection .
