After some system changes, I have reverted to some old ways, including dB meter. Turns out I listen mostly 60-70; really rare to hit 80! Who listens that loud, So when I say I need to crank my ATCs, this is what I am talking about Now I am really impressed with how great they sound at 70 dBs...

Hows this for an American system; British TT/CDP/power supply/speakers (Rega/Naim/ATC), French integrated (YBA), Chinese streamer (Wiim).

My primary reaction is that this statement ( the one I posted - not yours) is that it's such sounds insane nonsense that I would have a hard timebelieving anything they said. Honestly just read what I posted again

Well- I am super impressed with the Wiim pro plus. Sounds way better than my squeeze box touch +dacX+ power supply Y ever did. And for minimal bucks and no messing around. All and all- hard to find a fault. And the EQ is a great bonus too.

I have them on granite slabs but no spikes. I really couldn't heat a diff and they are a huge pain,IMO.

Update after 2 months0 the speakers are really great! They responded well to some pretty minor changes in positioning are great at low or high volume. I don't really buy into break0in, unless it's ears or cognitive dissonance, but they do sound richer than the did on Day1 . BTW the Wiim Pro...
