    The Jam never made as much of an impact here in the USA as they did in the UK and Europe, but my friends and I loved them. That's me in the center in 1983, aged 19. We tried to adapt the British mods' use of the Union Jack to the Stars & Stripes, but it doesn't quite translate, LOL.
