Rega 50th anniversary: what’s next?

We’re almost a third of the way through the year in which Rega promised us a series of 50th anniversary releases.

So far we’ve had a top of the range turntable, and…………nothing else.

Any ideas what’s coming? Any rumours or inside knowledge?

I believe plans are already well advanced for the 60th anniversary Rega streamer.

They are going to make an amp out of cardboard.

Ten years ago, they had not yet announced their RP40 anniversary turntable (Wayback Machine (archive.org)) but would in June (Wayback Machine (archive.org)). So still a few months to wait!

I'm still hoping for a power amp. Most of the current range of integrateds have a pre out. Wouldn't it be good to have something they could plug into...?

This clearly isn't going to happen, but I would dearly love to see a relatively low power, class A, SE integrated.

Apart from more colour choice on Planars, they seem to release very expensive items.
Thats fine
Osiris, Naia etc.

I would have hoped for a 50th. P3 Edition as a logic being the single range back then.

Wonder if a new Ela is planned ?

From what I heard, although there area some interesting things on testing, we will not having any bombastic new products this year.
Really a shame not to have that well priced dac with tube output...(my dream)

Only one or very few speakers.
same with CD players
Doubt they enter streaming market but you never know.
Tapedecks hardly
Cables ? - huge market out there for snake oil and massive profits.
