Shallow turntable

Hi all. I am looking for a turntable as shallow as possible - no more than 320mm deep and ideally as close to the depth of an actual record as possible - for an office system. Happy to go 2nd hand and not looking to spend more than £200. Any suggestions?

Kuzma Stabi XL

Alternatively: Kuzma Stabi S or Michell TecnoDec those on a tight budget.

au-ra G1 Rational Audio turntable:

Or one of those Sony/Technics/Mitsubishi vertical turntables.

That Aura thingy looks like a gadget. Stick to the best: Technics. As good as it gets.

The Technics sl-7 looks perfect. I've never had a linear tracker before. Are they reliable and how does one change the cartridge?

You can download the manual from Vinyl Engine to get an idea.
They are very reliable but they do need a revision after 40 years!

I have an SL-7 and an SL-10 and if I can change the cartridge anyone can. They are plug and play. Even the tracking force is more or less standard. They sound much better than you might imagine.

There is also the very Peo-Ject-like Music Hall - MMF-2.2, comes in at 12.5" deep.
Comparative reviews place it above the Carbon.

Another Technics deck that surprised with its sound quality was the SLDD33, possibly too deep though.
