It would be interesting to look at how the idea that the vaccines *wouldn’t* reduce transmission became such a widespread concern: AIUI that would really have been a very surprising development.
Hancock has said there’s early data showing a reduction in transmission in people who have had a vaccine.
He also said hospital admissions were falling "much more sharply" than they were in the first wave.
Israel’s health ministry also said yesterday that the rate of Covid-19 infections dropped 95.8 per cent among people who received both shots of Pfizer’s vaccine.
All very promising signs.
