Zeiss lenses for Canon EF mount announced

Cesare,

I'm sure the Zeiss will be fine, though is it much better than an older one with an adapter (apart from the obvious benefits of auto-aperture)?

Anyway in case I can tempt you I have:

1) Leitz Summicron-R 50/2
2) Leitz Summilux-R 50/1.4
3) Canon 50/1.2L

at least 2 of which I should probably sell (though obviously it's more fun not to)

Cesare

I have two Zeiss lenses. One has ZF mount - it's a 35mm and works well on a 1.5 crop body such as the Fuji S5 Pro or the D300. The other is a Biogon 21mm which on the M8 works out as about full viewfinder frame size.

They're both low distortion bright and contrasty image designs. If you can get either of these for the Canon, then great!

Those new F1.4 lenses would be great if you need fast speeds, but I haven't tried either in Nikon or M mount
