I'm not a serial changer of things once I'm settled on a sound, of these the ES14s served me well for over a decade with the M5s and Rega speakers not lasting long before settling on the ATCs

Royd A7
Epos ES14
Epos M5 (due to house move)
Rega R5 (never really got on with them)
ATC SCM11
ATC SCM40

Only bought within my budget or could not find an improvement (to my ears) at an affordable price...Was always thoroughly satisfied with these speakers. Never wanted a "trend" or "fashion" and certainly never wanted a boom box (subs). Chose the speakers carefully, so didn't need to disguise my mistakes with subs.

Wharfedale Dentons (bought from my sister's Freemans clubbie book) - New.

Wharfedale Lintons - second hand from my mate, could'n't afford them otherwise !

B+W DM110s - Digital monitor - bought from Billy Vee's,,, now that was a shop ! B+Ws were a wonderful pair of speakers, performed well above their price. New

Wharfedale Diamond 10.3 - temp buy after the B+Ws died. Still have them, fine speakers. Ex dem.

Tannoy Ardens (1976) bought from early retirement / redundancy cheque. Only one owner , (who bought from new ), before me. They're going in ma coffin!

It's a long list (in roughly chronological order, in multiple systems):
  • Royd - A7X, Albion, Minstrel SE, Squire, RR3, Merlin, Seven, Sintra 2
  • Designed by @James - Ergo IX, and building PFM Special
  • Totem Mite
  • GoldenEar SuperSub X
  • Vandersteen 3a (not Signature), picking up this weekend
  • Klipsch Cornwall IV (maybe later, if the 3a doesn't scratch my itch)
