So much wonderful music has been and continues to be written for Chrimbo. My current fave is John Gardner's Gallery Carol (1970) which is just a blast imo.
I've always liked Christians Awake! which is usually only sung on Christmas morning.
This evening I will be attending a traditional Carol Service in rural Northamptonshire given by my cousin who is an Anglican Vicar. I'm a terrible singer, but really enjoy being part of the congregation in a old church at this time of the year as I like most Carols.
Love playing the traditional Hark the Herald, but also a great fan of While Shephards to the local tune of Jackson, something of a tradition in these parts.
