Disapointed to see some folk I vaguely know on page 1 (Ladytron) and LOL at Stereophile making page 3! (I guess it has some test tones, white/pink noise or something).

I expect there will be people who want to get to #1 (worst) on this rating.

I know you shouldn't judge a book by the cover, but I don't feel like I'm missing much by not having heard any of the stuff on page 1!

Having a look at the worst offenders there; I'd say there's a fair few where it's not so much the mastering, as the recording (i.e that's the sound the artist is aiming for).

I leave them in the car on the radio where they're more at home.
