Somerfield ended up with the Co-op.

Bear in mind that they aren't always allowed to keep all the stores because of Monopolies and Mergers. I know that when Netto dropped out of the UK market Asda bought the operation, but MMC made them sell about half the stores because in certain areas they had a monopoly.
