If ever there was a record that makes you feel that your belt is slipping.....

That dropped beat 1.30 secs in?

The Stooges - Heavy Liquid
I didn't buy it on RSD and waited for the second pressing.
It is *uckin* amazing.

I'm biased as a Star Trek nerd, but this new complete remaster is a must-own if you're a fan. Musically and sonically, it really brings it.

A guilty pleasure from my childhood. Out of the Blue - ELO. Rather surprised, it sounds much better than I expected. I checked the DR noisewar database and, no surprise, it is not at all bad on the compression front. I suspect that Jeff Lynne knew what he was doing...

Simply vinyl - What a slab of wax . Gave my ears a right old workout.

Can remember the day I walked into a record shop (Sydney Scarborough) browsing around, as you did, and this record was playing. Went up to the counter and asked who it was and couldn't believe it was the Grateful Dead. The more it went on the more I liked it, so I bought it. Still remains one of my favourite albums.Tried their earlier stuff but just couldn't get into it. At all. 30 years ago it was. Wow. Where'd that go?
