Value my LP12

So my trusty LP12 is going up for sale due to lack of use :(

Question is though.... what's it worth? I've looked at others for sale and the price range is huge! Hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can help.

Some details:

Serial number 3138, no additional fancy power supplies or Linn upgrades (as far as I can tell). Selling it with Ittok LVII arm and Linn K18 cartridge. All working order, but could probably do with a service by now.

Interesting, mine is collecting dust in the loft. Serial number 43798, Ittok LVII, with a K9 cartridge. No upgrades. What's it worth?

Sadly not as much as you'll get from parting it out.
You'll get £550 or so for the Ittok.
Outer platter : £120
Good Valhalla: £60
Non corner braced plinth : worthless
Corner braced plinth: £80 to £150 for a really nice one
Cirkus bearing (undamaged) : £350 or so
Damaged Cirkus (very common): £100
Non Cirkus : £50?
Top plate : £40, maybe £60 if corner bolted
Motor: £50
Lid: up to £100 if mint
Hinges: £10
Armboard: £20
Sub chassis, springs etc : £40
Cart: No idea

And if you sell all these bit separately don't forget to factor in the packing and postage, booking courier or visits to the Post Office etc. I think these mentioned prices are eBay rates so then selling fees/PayPal fees will need to be deducted.

I don't think the loft is a good place for a tonearm, especially if you have loft insulation. The range of temperatures can be huge!

Not really, I sold mine as parts through here and the Wam. Took a while and it was a PITA. I couldn't get a buyer at £1300, but I got >£1500 back in the end.
