I can't agree that antisemitism is culturally beyond the pale. I've experienced enough personally to know that's not true. And I'm not even Jewish.

Fair point. Perhaps I should have said that there is a high likelihood that people realise the societal dangers of appeals to antisemitism.

I have seen quite a few 'rise of the far right' in my lifetime. Seems to come around every decade or so. So far its always been media hype, exaggeration and distortion. I see nothing different or new in this latest episode.
