TDA1541A On Ebay

I f anyone is looking to buy a TDA1541A I bought a couple from this Ebay seller £9.60 each they arrived quickly & are all fine.

By "all fine" you mean you've tried both of them for long enough to get them heated up?

I bought two recently (different vendor), one died after I did some cap changes on the board, I thought the other had followed suit when it started making the tell-tale crackling noises. Pulled it off, found one the pins (5V) bent around, straightened it, replaced it and it's been fine since. Can't explain that one.

Mine have very faint markings, and the word TAIWAN where the stripe is on the ones pictured above.

I have been over them with a magnifying glass & cannot find any additional markings, I have only tried one of them for a couple of hours in an AA5 & it seems to be fine. but I thought at £9.60 each i'd chance it.
