Ive just read elsewhere on the interweb that George Hadcock passed away last month. Sad news indeed, the UK audio industry has lost yet another of its great names and a true analogue pioneer.
I used to set up a good many of the earliest ones and "wonderful" wasn't a word that came to mind back then as they fell apart very easily... They sounded good with Deccas and the Entre I remember (yes folks, I'm rerally THAT old!!!)
I understand that they were FAR better built in recent years - they needed to be I can assure you....
