Richard Coughlan (Caravan) RIP

I heard earlier that Richard Coughlan, one of the founder members and drummer/percussionist of the Canterbury band Caravan passed away on December 1st.

Ick, thanks for letting us know, very sad to hear this. "Canterbury" music still gets played at lot in my house.

I wasn't aware that he ran "The Sun Inn" at Faversham, I'll make that a reason to go there when I next vist the UK.

Eric, was very sad news indeed. Always playing "Canterbury" music here too. I didn't know that he ran the Sun Inn at Faversham. The last I knew was that he was running "The Cricketers" in Canterbury, not too far from my workplace. Apparently he had recently moved to Broadstairs.

Next time you visit the UK, just let me know and I will join you for a pint in The Sun Inn........and The Cricketers!
