Baffled
I noticed Radial Engineering sell a phono stage.

Obviously the DI functionality (basically converting the signal to a balanced, low-impedance microphone level signal so it can be sent to a desk and PA system) probably isn't useful for home use but Radial transformers are excellent and their DI boxes are pretty much industry standard.
I wondered if anyone had compared this to a traditional phono stage?
