This is a copy and past from the PFM FAQs, there was a fairly recent thread on this - I think gintonic wrote it but I can't remember! FAQs
Once you know what to do, like most things, it's easy - but rather frustrating when you don't!

How to link to image files

Thanks idomybest. I tried that, but it didn't work.

To be precise, I tried adding the text below to my post with the begin and end IMG tags like this
[img]https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/v7g6ky5o0a8tdwkortk3h/WispOfSnow.jpg?rlkey=4zkxejlfd1mv5hgzl98zkii3d&dl=0[/img]
but it didn't work (as you can see below)

I also tried removing the text after the .jpg in the URL like this
[img]https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/v7g6ky5o0a8tdwkortk3h/WispOfSnow.jpg[/img]
but it also didn't work (as you can see below)

Although not much help to you, I use Flickr and it works great, maybe someone that uses dropbox can help?.....

I watched an incredible sunset a couple of days ago. The golden light was visible through a couple of holes in the clouds which appeared to have defined edges and a softer interior, giving a 3D or tunnel effect.

Playing with the mono jpeg setting on my CCD-sensored S5 Pro this morning. Usually, ISO800 is pretty much a no-go for RAF files (especially as LR's AI NR doesn't recognise the S5's unique CCD array) but I really like its mono jpegs at this setting. I'm going to use it more
