A couple from a walk around Milsons Point and Luna Park yesterday.

Very special Mark, I really like this photo. The contrast between the foreground and background is very interesting.
The background almost becomes a painting.

Was the camera hand held and where in the Lakes did you take it?

Thanks Gerard - handheld with the Panasonic LX5 compact - looking across to Crinkle Crags and Bowfell on the left with the Langdale Pikes on the right. We were just having a quick wander over Lingmoor.

Beautiful and inspiring!

I must take my camera up to Ullswater when I'm next at the Van,
hopefully this will be sometime over the next few weeks!

Father-in-law on Striding Edge this morning. Only took the little DA40 limited with me for a change. Under the weather and didn't really fancy taking tripod, two bodies and seven lenses across the ridges (and the boys lunch as well).

And looking back across from Swirral Edge after lunch.

Just to be silly, me and an ol mate with a couple of toys.

His is a cracking 135i Coupé, mine just a 120d Coupé. I took this pic (using self timer) to try and make amends with a forum moderator after I accidentally upset a gay member. Oh well.
