Passive pre, remote volume and inputs for 2 T/T's

blossomchris

I feel better than James Brown
I was wondering if anyone knows of such an animal for MM only. I have had a search to no avail, or should I build one or get someone to construct one for me?
Budget is around £500-£1200

PS: forgot to add I have sourced my phone stages.

I had one of those, and it was a stunner. It started as an m/m + m/c Art Audio Vinyl One, silver wired reference version. I then had a line input added with a source selector and a passive volume control, ALPS Blue with remote control.

It also had a gain switch on the m/c output to keep the noise down as it had high output m/c transformers.

I sold it to a guy called Brook a while back.
There are some images of the outside and insides here:

I sold it as I bought a Devialet, one reason being that the Devialet can be programmed for two phono inputs.

The fully spec'ed one I had you could probably negotiate from Tom Willis for around £2,500, less if not silver wired.

Before that I had a Tellurium Q machine that was very good, but not as good as the Art Audio valve one.
I got it from Analogue Seduction as an ex-demo, they still advertise it.

You could ask them or search for one, or ask Colin Wonfor if he has one or could source one. He might even be able to make you one.

I don't think it had remote control.

Thanks for informative reply, sis.

I have amended my OP as per usual my thoughts runs away with themselves at times and I rush things.
