Naim NAP 100 with non naim pre amps

That item was mentioned in post #13, and most of this thread is really aimed at its compatibility with other preamps, not Naim to begin with. As to Naim pres, sure it can be used provided you have a Hicap or Snaps or other power supply for the pre.
Don't know about some of the others here, but I have enjoyed mine for over a year, and actually had a second one laying around for a Qute that never took place, so I use a pair of them out of my Uniti in hamstrung monobloc mode. Works better than I would have figured and sounds pretty good as well.
