Should be easy - the LED is powered by the power supply in one of the channels, with a series resistor, the LED return goes directly to the star ground.
Before replacing it with a new one, make sure (with the 250 powered off) that the series resistor is not blown, and the wires are not broken. Use a DVM to test the existing LED (if I remember correctly, when the DVM is in Diode mode, the LED should show some 1K resistance in both polarities).
