My father had the Wolsely 6 cylinder version. I remember the first time I drove it. Mum and dad were picking me up from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh's Grassmarket at the end of the autumn term. It was 4.30 it was dark and the Friday rush hour was underway. Dad handed me the keys and asked me to drive them to their hotel and then drive out of Edinburgh to my halls of residence. The car was brand new!! Dad must have been confident in my driving.

I do remember that they were comfortable long distance cruisers.
