Naim CDS3

Naim appears to have removed the CDS3 from its website...or am I just blind and can't find it?

Naim no longer produces the cds3.

I think Naim is slowly removing their cd players and replacing it with streamers

Some dealers in Singapore no longer has any cd players in their demo room. The only "cd player" found in my local Naim dealer is the unity player. My local Linn dealer does not even have any cd players. Most dealers tell me that they are selling only a handful of cd players over the past six months. Some of them did not even sell one cd players for months. My guess is that no high end hifi dealer is going to sell cd players in two or three years time.

Audiolab also do a rather decent yet affordable range of CD players that double up as DACs making them pretty future-proof.

It looks as though the new NDS is the spiritual successor to the CDS3....same price at least!!

I seem to recall the CDS3 was dropped from the Naim line up last year. Still have the 555 though. A good time to buy a second hand CDP and CDs have never been cheaper.
