They look like the real deal, though only the little 10” III-LZ, which seem a little overlooked in the rush for 12” and 15” Golds. I’ve never knowingly heard a pair, though I bet they are nice. Interestingly they crossover a little higher up IIRC.

And they have a bigger LF voice coil. If it wasn't for my desire to have a bigger bass cone, these would have suited me.

I didn’t know that. I guess they have to move a lot further than a 12” or 15”.

And the answer is....£1.2k so not much higher at all. So going by these and that 12" pair, it seems that (possibly) new old stock drivers are worth no more than a nice tidy used pair in original cabinets. Which I suppose doesn't seem unreasonable, though slightly surprising..
