M-DAC sound glitches

Until today I've been using a DacMagic with optical input from both my YouView box and DVD/CD player with no problems.

Today I connected a second hand, but new this year, M-DAC in place of the DacMagic to find that the sound intermittently glitches when fed from the YouView box, all is OK fed from the DVD/CD player. The interesting observation is that if I pause the YouView box for a moment and then select play the glitches are missing.

I have swapped the optical inputs over with no change.

Any suggestions for a fix would be most welcome.

Fred,

1.Select the input you want to use with the YouView box

2. in the MDAC's Menu options find and select "High Jitter" Bandwidth or "High Jitter Rejection" or some such...

Thank you very much, that worked perfectly.
Jitter Rejection changed from Auto to Medium

I suppose this will come at some sonic expense, I've not told my 73 year old ears, hoping they won't notice.
