I've fitted one to my LP12, it's an upgrade in as much as it allows speed of 45rpm without faffing with those motor adapters.
Easy to fit and a lot more reasonably priced in comparison to a lingo.

I recently had a Heed Orbit 1 fitted to my LP12 to replace the Valhalla power supply. Noticable overall improvement and of course it can also play at 45rpm.
