Licensing Flickr to Getty

Hi

Been reading about this, has anybody tried submitting the 10 pictures and does it look worthwhile. I doubt Getty would use mine anyway.

I haven't tried it myself. However an easy way in would be to post in the group:

http://www.flickr.com/groups/callforartists

and according to the group discussions you don't give anything away at this stage but it gives Getty a pool to look through and they may offer a contract subsequently.

oh right, thanks Cliff. Might add some to the Flickr pool and see what happens. What are your thought on the contracts, bit confusing to a simpleton like me.

I haven't read the contract terms yet - looks like once you agree then Getty have bought the rights to publish, but lets face it, if you go that far you probably haven't got any better offers on the table.
