Is Supernait preamp section really 82 with twin power supply ? Glossy high frequency and ash grey midrange is kind of unnerving in this bugger.
Naim got rid of SMD resistors in signal path and several SMD version of Tants replacing them with supposedly inferior ( according to Diyaudio ) beaded tants in following SN2 &3 models also it looks that there is some form of power regs in between the stages of preamp. I'm thinking of doing the same . Also for some reason they replaced all the El caps in relays supply with tants for some strange reason. Sorry for OT post but since all those preamps are more or less the same all the mods apply equally I guess
