Can I post a photo from my iPad to the photo forum without additional web based photo storage software? Thanks.

No

This forum doesn’t store photos so you will need an external site, beware Flickr doesn’t give you the link to let you post on an iPhone or iPad.

It’s a PITA on an iPhone admittedly, but fine on the iPad. Just use Safari, not the Flickr app which is pretty terrible. I do all my posting here from an iPad Pro including linking to images on my Flickr account etc and it is fine. Just the same as on a desktop PC or Mac.

I have my photos on iCloud, so when I take a pic with my iPhone (which has a better camera) it is automatically shared on my iPad, I can then upload that to Flickr and share it on pfm or anywhere else.

PS In the iPad’s Settings/Safari I have ‘Request Desktop Website’ set to ‘always’, makes sure you don’t get served some dumbed-down mobile phone site.

by default it doesn't on Android either, but viewing the desktop site gives you full Flickr experience including access to the sharing links.

Postimg.cc is excellent for sharing images. You still have to upload though.

I use https://imgbb.com/ and find it very good. Useful in that one of the options is BBCode which can be copied and pasted directly into posts
