How to use a passive sub with Linn Majik 1 and/or Linn Classik Music CD?

Hello...I've got both units and a pair of old Tukans to make a second system with...how would I safely
hook up a passive subwoofer to either (or both if need be) without any further investment...could I just
connect the sub to one side of the second set of speaker outs? both units have two sets of speaker outs...

You should to be able to control the sub volume independently of the main speakers, and you should be able to be ensure that the sub doesn't get higher frequencies (which it won't be so good at reproducing.) Is there a crossover built into your subwoofer?

Hi...thanks for the reply...how do I hook up the sub? is it ok to take either left or right output of the amp and feed it to the sub?
where would I insert a gain control for the sub? I don't think the sub has anything in it as its an old school NHT SWIP 10"
