Gibson G-Force tuning system

Hi all

Has anyone had any real experience with this? Most of the negative comments I've read appear to come from (very) traditionalist guitarists.

There are some seriously low prices on Gibsons with these just now.

Does it mean they are crap? Or does it just reflect the conservatism of most guitarists? Or are the 2015 Gibsons just rubbish?

I've just been playing with an earlier version - the Gibson Robot on an SG. The newer version is allegedly better, but the earlier is seriously rubbish. Imagine having a very irritating and very slow computer attached to your guitar...

It often just gives up half way through a new tuning, or takes up to 30-40 seconds just to check standard tuning.
