Thanks a lot guys. There's no chain on either side which makes things a lot easier so here's hoping it all goes smoothly.

Not a complete tax exile as you have to pay property taxes in Switzerland, but when everything is added up it will still work out a lot cheaper than renting! And we will have to pay CGT on the UK house sale (ouch!)
